About Jordan Chastain
Jordan joined the firm in 2015. His practice focuses on intellectual property prosecution and litigation, as well as Start-Up Law, Health Care Law, and HIPAA Privacy Law.
Jordan has experience with Patent and trademark matters at both the Federal Court and United States Patent and Trademark Office. Jordan regularly prosecutes trademarks, office actions, and has participated in Opposition/Cancellation Proceeding with the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board.
Before joining the firm, Jordan worked at Florida’s Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA) reviewing anti-fraud and compliance documents for Medicaid managed care plans, as well as conducted Medicaid fraud investigations.
Jordan received a B.A from Flagler College in St. Augustine, FL and his Juris Doctorate from Florida State University College of Law. While in law school, Jordan served with the IRS-VITA volunteer program as a site coordinator providing tax assistance for low income and local small businesses in the Tallahassee area.
Prior to attending Law School, Jordan was a middle school mathematics instructor in St. Johns County, and has led youth programs teaching archery and skeet shooting. Jordan is married to his longtime sweetheart Ashley and they have one son, Finn.
