Qualcomm accuses Apple of Patent Infringement

Qualcomm has filed complaints with both the International Trade Commission (ITC) and the Southern District of California against Apple alleging infringement of six of its patents in the iPhone.

The Qualcomm patents allegedly represent several key features of the iPhone including its performance, processing, and battery life.

If the ITC pursues an investigation into Apple’s iPhone and finds infringing technology, it could lead to the issuance of a Limited Exclusion Order, stopping Apple’s importation and sale of the pertinent iPhone products as infringing goods.
